Smoking in the boys room!
Hello bloggers!

Motley Crüe is coming to Boston in September, and one of their songs came into my head, "Smoking in the boys room". I started to think, I wonder if that's still a big problem for schools. I have a feeling it is, but would like to think with how expensive they are, that kids can't get their hands on them! Or want to risk them being swiped.

It was easy back in the day to snag a few from boxes that were left out in the open, or save your lunch money. The most common method was to just bum one, but you eventually start to get a bad name doing that. It wasn't the cost it that pissed people off just fact you never have any when someone else is in need.

There was a trend going around with the new vapor cigarettes. I've seen them in malls but never at restaurants or work places. I Definatley could see schools having a problem with them. Kids always want to push their limits. Teacher would catch a kids smoking, and the punk would probably say it's legal there Blucigs.

Smoke breaks
I never really got smoking. Sure I've tried it, I thought it was gross. The other things I didn't like about it were sneaking to even have a smoke, or the lying. Most of the people I hung out with didn't get in to smoking either. Which probably made it easy to not get sucked in by peer pressure. Not that I think I would of, but I know how it feels. Now that I'm older and I still don't smoke, I think about starting. You may be thinking why would I start now? Simply because of company politics. Let's just say they're two type of people, people who will work hard, and don't smoke, and then they're people who work hard and do smoke. who will go further in the company? Most likely the smokers because during there smoke breaks, they're socializing, and when it comes time for promotions it's going to be the people they know better. It also seems like they get more advantages, like smoke breaks. I can't walk out to my car to get a Drink from my cooler, but five people can stand outside talking and smoking. I take less time getting my drink then there smoke break, I walk by on my way out to my car and on my way back they're still there, so really don't understand why I would even be spoken too. That's why I need to get some blucigs.com

Helping out Family Business

I appreciate the guest post, Jewel Rodgers

I came home for the summer from college to help out with the family business. I feel bad since out of all 3 of my siblings, I’m the only one who doesn’t help out on a regular basis. My brother and sister live in the same town as my parents. My brother is there every day helping out, and my sister does on the weekends. I would if I could, but my university is 3 and a half hours away, and that is just not a practical commute to make on the weekends. Of course, I would always come if they were in a jam and needed my help, but I can’t really make it on a regular basis. That’s why it really feels good to be helping out now. One thing I ‘d like to do while I’m here is set them up with new york T1. I think it will totally improve the business in many ways, and I just don’t think it has occurred to my parents to consider different internet options.

Jump Roping
Hello Bloggers!

I've recently started working out, starter in the month February. I'm currently trying to advance my jump roping skills. I've been using the jump rope before my work out, as a warm up. I try to get my heart rate in the zone to burn the most fat.

My current skills are pretty basic, jacks, high knees, and just starting the cross over. If you have a blog with any jump roping tuturiols, please leave me a link in the comments!

Protecting Our Children

Thanks for the post from Sylvester Campbell

Both of my daughters and I use Security choice as our home alarm system. Owning a home is a very important and major step in a person’s life. We want to feel protected, to feel our valuables (both monetarily valuable as well as sentimentally valuable) are protected. When my grandsons were small, we had to explain the beeps when we entered the house, the rush to the keypad, and why it was important that we go through that process each time we leave and enter the house. It is important to teach children at an early age the importance of safety in all areas of their lives. We teach them not to talk to strangers, demonstrate scenarios where strangers might try to lure them to their car, and explain that it is not only okay but imperative that they scream, kick, and claw if a stranger picks them up in a store. We live in an increasingly dangerous world and it is a shame that our children cannot play in their own front yards!

Protein Shales (what's your recipe?)
Hello bloggers!
..
Do you have a special protein shake recipe?
I would love to read all about it. Just leave me a comment and a link to it. I will reply to all Legimate comments.
.
The reason I'm asking is I've recently started working out. I'm trying to focus on dieting, not in the sense of loosing weight, just to gain quicker result, and to feel and be healthier. One of the main things I've been doing is having a protein shake after my workout.

Right now it's been whey's strawberry mixed with a glass of milk. Now I want to make my shake a little bit more of a reward. I want to want to workout just somI can have that special shake.

Let me know what you do?

Making cute Christmas cookies for my daughter's class

Guest post written by Madeline Houston

I was really surprised when I became a parent that so much of those skills are just cooking for other people's children. But it also gives you somewhat of an excuse to cook and bake some really great things. The holidays are especially the case for that between all of our church activities, my kids' Christmas party and their class holiday parties at school. I've been baking so many cookies lately, but I don't really mind it. I love baking cookies and also eating them too!

But I thought that maybe I could find a new recipe or two to try out for this holiday season. It never hurts to have a few extra recipes on hand. While I was online looking up some recipes, I came across some info on miracle ear. I forwarded it to my husband and convinced him to go and get fitted with some hearing aids.

I found this one really cute cute Christmas cookie that I really took over the top with some holiday cookie cutters. Plus, some colorful icing never hurts, either!
